The Eucor team at KIT invites students and staff from the Eucor universities to the Eucor Dinner at the Kulturküche Karlsruhe. On June 6, 2025, from 2:30 PM to approximately 8:30 PM, there will first be an exchange about Eucor programs, followed by intercultural workshops (German/French), offering the opportunity to make new connections. The event includes exploring the city and concludes with a shared dinner in the evening.

The Eucor Olympiad 2025 will take place on Friday, May 30th, from 10:00 a.m. to approximately 6:00 p.m. at the Institute of Sport and Sports Science at the University of Freiburg. Students from all five Eucor universities can look forward to a day of team building, sports challenges, and international exchange. Participation is free of charge, but spots are limited to 60; the registration deadline is May 25, 2025.

How is climate change perceived across borders and generations? In the EPICUR exhibition “Climate Change – International Perspectives from Young and Old” on Thursday, 8 May 2025 at 12 p.m. on Marktplatz in Karlsruhe, students from the Karlsruhe district present the results of their international Citizen Science project. The project explores sociological questions through surveys and interviews. Visitors are invited to join the conversation, share their views on climate change, and learn from the young researchers.  Eucor Language Courses: Experiencing Language and Culture Together

From May 19 to 23, 2025, the Eucor team at KIT in Karlsruhe will offer an intercultural language course week. Sixteen KIT students will participate in a French communication training (A2/B1 level), while sixteen students from the Université de Haute-Alsace and the Université de Strasbourg will take part in an intensive German course (A2/B1 level). In the mornings, language classes will be held; in the afternoons, there will be a joint program for the practical application of language skills and cultural exchange.

From February 19 to 21, 2025, the scientific workshop with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) took place at KIT. The aim of the workshop was to deepen and expand the cooperation between Karlsruhe and Thessaloniki (KATHES) in the dimensions of research, teaching and transfer. The festive highlight of the three-day visit was the participation in the ceremonial act of the KIT on the occasion of its 200th anniversary.

UnterzeichnungFunding for cross-border teaching: Apply now!

The University of Basel is funding innovative bi- or multinational courses in the fall semester 2025 and spring semester 2026 with the Cross-Border Education Grant. Lecturers who cooperate with at least one Eucor university (optionally also an EPICUR university) can receive up to CHF 4,000 per project. Applications are possible until April 13, 2025, the funding decision will be made by April 30, 2025 at the latest.
