Welcome to the AG!

The "Anti-Racism and Anti-Discrimination" working group has existed since 2019 as an employee initiative of the International Services Unit (INTL).

As an internal exchange and working structure, it actively addresses issues of discrimination, with a particular focus on racism. With a participatory bottom-up approach, the working group aims to provide impetus for an organizational culture within INTL that is critical of discrimination and sensitive to diversity.

Its vision is the elimination of all forms of structural discrimination and a mindful and discrimination-sensitive approach both within INTL and with the target groups.

Open dialog, constructive feedback and a wide range of suggestions are particularly important to the working group. At monthly meetings, the working group identifies training needs for its members and for INTL as a whole, among other things, and organizes corresponding internal workshops.

The working group also acts as an internal point of contact for INTL members who have experienced discrimination and/or have questions on the topic. It offers referral advice on further support and advice services. In this context and beyond, it works closely with the KIT Anti-Discrimination Officer.
