Long-Term Collaboration Partners
This section presents institutions that have been working closely with the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) in joint projects for many years. These long-standing collaborations reflect continuity, and successful partnerships.
CARE-O-SENE – Catalyst Research for Sustainable Kerosene
Content:
CARE-O-SENE connects seven major German and South African project partners. Together, they develop optimised catalysts for the production of green kerosene and sustainable aviation fuels (SAF). The project aims to make the production of sustainable aviation fuels economically more attractive and to support the transformation of the aviation sector.
The collaboration further includes:
- Development and characterisation of catalyst materials
- Catalyst testing for green kerosene production and biomass valorisation
