How does Eucor mobility work for students at KIT?

1. Inform yourself about the study programmes offered by Eucor

If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Eucor team at KIT via email.

  • Here you can also select your type of mobility:
    • Semester Mobility: Study for an entire semester/year exclusively at a Eucor partner university.

Travel Cost Subsidy:

  • Before starting your Eucor studies, you can apply for a travel cost subsidy via the Mobility Online portal. This also applies to extracurricular offers, internships, and specific Eucor events.
  • After the end of the event or Eucor mobility (at the latest 2 months afterward), you must upload your receipts and proof of participation (e.g., transcript of records or certificate of attendance) in the Mobility Online portal.
  • Depending on available funding, travel costs (usually regional train, one round trip per week) can be reimbursed up to 100%.

3. Fill in your Learning Agreement (recommended, but optional)

  • Before your stay at the host university, you must complete a Learning Agreement (LA). This agreement between the student, KIT, and the host university outlines the study program for your stay. Please use the current Eucor-Learning Agreement and follow the accompanying instructions.
  • Have it signed first by the responsible person at your KIT faculty (subject coordinator) and then by the responsible person at the host university.
  • You will need the LA for the recognition of academic achievements at KIT.
  • If you are only taking courses from the interdisciplinary program (e.g., additional qualifications, Career Service) that you do not intend to have recognized, completing a Learning Agreement is not strictly necessary.

4. Enrollment at the Partner University | Attending Courses

After registering in the Mobility Online portal at KIT, you will proceed with enrollment at the partner university.

5. Complete Steps in the Mobility Online Portal

After your stay, you must upload all required documents:

  • Certificate of attendance or transcript of records as proof of courses attended.
  • If you applied for a travel cost subsidy, submit the necessary documents no later than 2 months after the end of your mobility.
