How does Eucor mobility work for students at KIT?

1. Inform yourself about the study programmes offered by Eucor

French universities do not have a detailed course catalog that can be found online in advance. The exact course catalog is published shortly before the start of the semester, so it makes sense to select several courses in advance.
- To find specific courses, take a look at the list of degree programs at the University of Strasbourg.
- Contact the international correspondent (Correspondant des Relations Internationales, CORI) and the student secretariat of the respective faculty to obtain information about the courses offered (max. number of participants, registration conditions, dates, room).
- Clarify your participation in the course with the lecturer and/or the "CORI" of the host faculty.

2. Sign up in the KIT Mobility Online Portal
Register on KIT’s Mobility Online portal to access all important information.
- Here you can also select your type of mobility:
- Semester Mobility: Study for an entire semester/year exclusively at a Eucor partner university.
- Occasional Mobility: Take individual courses at a partner university while continuing to study at KIT.
- Other: Doctorate, internship, thesis, event, day seminar, etc.

Travel Cost Subsidy:
- Before starting your Eucor studies, you can apply for a travel cost subsidy via the Mobility Online portal. This also applies to extracurricular offers, internships, and specific Eucor events.
- After the end of the event or Eucor mobility (at the latest 2 months afterward), you must upload your receipts and proof of participation (e.g., transcript of records or certificate of attendance) in the Mobility Online portal.
- Depending on available funding, travel costs (usually regional train, one round trip per week) can be reimbursed up to 100%.
3. Fill in your Learning Agreement (recommended, but optional)
- Before your stay at the host university, you must complete a Learning Agreement (LA). This agreement between the student, KIT, and the host university outlines the study program for your stay. Please use the current Eucor-Learning Agreement and follow the accompanying instructions.
- Have it signed first by the responsible person at your KIT faculty (subject coordinator) and then by the responsible person at the host university.
- You will need the LA for the recognition of academic achievements at KIT.
- If you are only taking courses from the interdisciplinary program (e.g., additional qualifications, Career Service) that you do not intend to have recognized, completing a Learning Agreement is not strictly necessary.
4. Enrollment at the Partner University | Attending Courses
After registering in the Mobility Online portal at KIT, you will proceed with enrollment at the partner university.

During your mobility, you can make use of the academic and service offerings at the partner university.
- Collect your travel tickets and bank statements as proof for the travel cost reimbursement (to be uploaded in the Mobility Online portal).
5. Complete Steps in the Mobility Online Portal
After your stay, you must upload all required documents:
- Certificate of attendance or transcript of records as proof of courses attended.
- If you applied for a travel cost subsidy, submit the necessary documents no later than 2 months after the end of your mobility.
