Start well informed at KIT!
This fast-track workshop is intended for new international students (Bachelor and Master) and your all-access pass. It summarizes the entire orientation program for international students and provides you with all the important information you need to get off to a seamless start.
 
We cover the four pillars of your successful start:
Immigration & Enrollment: your guide to registering in Germany (residence permit, housing registration, health insurance, etc.). Home Sweet Home: Tips on finding accommodation. Academic Toolkit: Everything you need to know about the campus management system (CAS, KIT ILIAS, KIT e-mail). Social Life/Networking: How to build your social life in and around the university and Karlsruhe.  
General conditions:
Participation is free of charge. The number of places is limited to 20. Workshop language is English; contributions in German are welcome and will be understood. Registration via Campus Plus (please select one of the four dates there).

This Info²  Workshop provides students with an overview about the different opportunities to go abroad.  Representitives from various international programs will provide information, inorder that you can evaluate what prospects are available and what you may be interested in.
 
What will be addressed?
The primarily focus is for students seeking information regarding:
∎ Overseas Study Abroad 
∎ ERASMUS+ including "Restplätze" for SS 26
∎ Application for the academic year 2026/27 (WS 26/27 and SS 27)
∎ Application procedure and general conditions
 
The Workshop will be held in German. There will also be a Q&A round, where you ask questions in English or German.
 
This Workshop is relevant for all students in the KIT Department of Informatics who are pursuing a KIT degree. All students may participate in the program regardless of EU nationality.
 
The workshop will be held in english, but questions can be asked in english or german.

Wir bieten während der Vorlesungszeit ungefähr monatlich Infoveranstaltungen an - mal als Online Webinare, mal in Präsenz.
During the lecture period, we offer information sessions approximately once a month - sometimes as online webinars, sometimes in person.
 
Unsere Infoveranstaltungen geben Ihnen einen Überblick über die Übersee-Austauschprogramme des IStO: Geklärt werden hierbei allgemeine Fragen zu den Programmen und den jeweiligen Voraussetzungen sowie Details über das Bewerbungsverfahren und die optimale Vorbereitung. 
Wir bieten während der Vorlesungszeit ungefähr monatlich Infoveranstaltungen an - mal als Online Webinare, mal in Präsenz.
Die Teilnahme an den Online-Terminen erfolgt über den Kursraum "Infoveranstaltungen Auslandsstudium" in ILIAS. Wählen Sie bitte den entsprechenden Ordner "Infoveranstaltungen Übersee". Eine Anmeldung ist nicht notwendig.
