The International Affairs Business Unit (INTL) is the starting and contact point for KIT's international activities in research, teaching, and innovation. We at INTL offer comprehensive advice and support for international and German students, researchers, and KIT employees. By supporting international cooperation projects and partnerships, we promote KIT's internationalization at all levels and enable mobility for all career levels.

From June 22–27, 2026, Tour Eucor invites you to a five-day cycling trip through the Upper Rhine region, connecting all five Eucor universities. The tour is open to all cycling enthusiasts who wish to explore new cities. Starting and ending in Karlsruhe, the route includes stops in Strasbourg, Mulhouse, Basel, and Freiburg. Evening programs will further enrich the experience. Registration is open until February 21, 2026.

From February 16, 2026, to March 9, 2026, students will have the opportunity to apply for the EPICUR summer program and gain international experience in an uncomplicated way. The innovative EPICUR courses on a wide range of topics take place online, in a hybrid format, or at one of the partner universities and connect students and teachers from all over Europe. An online information event will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 1 p.m.

Ron Kikinis, Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School (HMS), is receiving this year's “International Excellence Award of KIT” and the “Fellowship of SCHROFF Foundation.” KIT is thus honoring the globally recognized expert in the fields of medical image processing, image-guided therapy, and biomedical informatics.
MoreThe University of Strasbourg (with ENGEES) and KIT are launching the new international program “Continental Water Sustainability.” The two-year program, taught entirely in English and leading to a dual German-French degree, qualifies students for interdisciplinary tasks in the sustainable management of continental water systems.

It achieves particularly good results in the areas of employer reputation and research performance, which are key indicators in the ranking.
