EPICUR for Researchers

Citizen Science Workshop

During the KIT Science Week, EPICUR will be offering a Citizen Science workshop and expert consultations on October 17 at TRIANGEL Transfer | Kultur | Raum. The morning workshop provides practical guidance on integrating Citizen Science into research and EU funding proposals, featuring three experts from the University of Barcelona and the University of Southern Denmark. In the afternoon, participants can receive personalized feedback and explore local projects. Both sessions aim to empower researchers, civil society, and policymakers to create impactful, fundable Citizen Science initiatives.

EPICUR Hubs

If you are eager to expand your network, develop skills for your research career and engage with other researchers in Europe through courses, conferences and networking sessions, then the Hubs are the perfect place for you!

As to continue the EPICUR Hubs after their launch in April 2025, we are also looking for courses geared towards master’s students and early career researchers (doctoral candidates, postdocs, up to junior professors) in the area of Sustainable Transformation, as well as Transversal Skills courses in topics such as finding research funding, writing grant applications, publishing research papers, project management, leadership skills and AI in research (find more details about the Hubs call here).

About EPICUR Hubs

The EPICUR Hubs feature research-oriented learning, training and networking opportunities for:

  • Master’s students interested in pursuing a research career
  • Early Career Researchers (ECRs)

The EPICUR hubs serve as virtual centres for transnational research collaboration and skills development. They promote networking, further training and international visibility for early-stage researchers through a variety of learning and exchange formats.
By combining research, training and international cooperation, the hubs support the career paths of young scientists – both within and outside academia.
