Técnico Lisboa’s International Staff Training Week from 7 to 11 October, 2019 will offer attendees the opportunity to interact with colleagues from other universities, share best practices and discuss current challenges facing internationalization in higher education. The five-day programme has a unique format which will include guest speakers, regular sessions, debates, workshops, along with the opportunity to disseminate your university at the international exhibition and World Café, cultural activities and social events.

The International Training Week will take place at the Porto campus of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, between 8th and 10th of May 2019.

This will be USN’s first international staff week ever. It will take place from June 3rd to 6th, 2019 in the Kongsberg, Norway. The topic is about Global mindset in industry partnerships and higher education. The Staff Week 2018 will be at campus Kongsberg, therefore this seminar will be extra relevant for staff from partner institutions connected administratively or academically to the academic fields at the campus: Technology and engineering, lighting design and optometry.

The EUF Open Space is a 3-day project incubation event from June 20th – 22nd June that gives participants the opportunity to find out more about EU funding opportunities, discuss their own project ideas with colleagues from across Europe, and plan the next steps for submitting and managing project applications. The lively and creative environment also offers multiple networking and best-practice sharing opportunities among higher education staff working on EU projects.
The five-day program will focus on:
