City Tour: Colonial Traces in Karlsruhe

Are you new to Karlsruhe and don't know much of the city yet? Are you interested in getting to know your new home from another perspective? Do you think it's important to take a critical look at the past? Then the city tour "Colonial Traces in Karlsruhe" is certainly the right thing for you!

For the city of Karlsruhe as well as for KIT, a responsible approach to history and the reappraisal of injustice, which still manifests itself in the form of discrimination in society today, are very important. The city of Karlsruhe is currently developing an action plan against discrimination and racism and would like to involve all citizens in this issue. We as KIT would also like to contribute and therefore offer this very interesting and varied city tour. It is offered by Nora Häuser, who wrote her master thesis about colonial traces in Karlsruhe.

In English: 08.04.2024 at 4:00 – 6:30 pm

What’s what during your studies?

Every course of study has certain rules. Knowing them can be very helpful, for example, to find the right lectures. Or it is important if your studies don’t go the way you want.

This workshop is also about terms that are important in connection with studying. I will also show you where to get help with certain topics.

This event takes place online in German, but questions can also be asked and answered in English.

Participate via this Zoom-link.
