Empowerment Workshop for Students with Experiences of Racism

This empowerment workshop in two parts, taking place on the 8, April and 29, April (from 13h – 17h) is exclusively for BIPoC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) students, students with a history of migration and/or refugee experience, who have experienced institutional racism, racism in everyday life and are affected by racism.

The workshop offers a safe space to share one's own experiences of racism with others affected by racism without having to explain or justify oneself. We want to learn from each other and, between thematic input and reflection work, recognize our own existing resources and activate our strengths. Together we want to develop strategies for how we want to perceive ourselves and learn to set effective boundaries and demand respect.

Registration: Coordination office for refugees and migrants at KIT (migrants∂intl.kit.edu)
