Creative Workshop - in HipHop Culture

If you can answer yes to any of these questions, then this workshop is for you!

  1. TEXT WORKSHOP: Hip Hop Songwriting / Creative Workshop and Poetry
  2. rhythm and melody (if necessary instruments and beatmaking basis)
  3. podcast (e.g. jingle melody design) / alternatively creative painting or graffiti basis course.

From October 5 to 6, 2021, 10-15h, the Heartbeat-BUS will be with us at KIT.
The first walk-in mobile film, photo, and sound studio with a vocal booth and control room will transform room 145/146 in building 50.41 into a stage of diversity, a multimedia meeting place.
On this creative stage you can work with professionals, bring out a crystal-clear message in multimedia together with like-minded people and effectively campaign for sustainability, global issues, a new togetherness, for a people- and environment-oriented future.

You can participate in this two-day workshop free of charge and without further requirements. No LP will be awarded.
Attendance at classroom events is only allowed with a 3G certificate and existing health insurance coverage.

 

 

Workshop with Dr. Vermeer: Life and studies in Germany (Language: English)

Designed to facilitate the start in Germany, minimizing intercultural misunderstandings, answering questions regarding behavior and Do’s and don’ts!

  • Short historical overview, focus on Nazi regime, Hitler then and now,
  • Free democratic basic order
  • Constitution: The dignity of man is inviolable
  • German democracy: learnings German values: tolerance, freedom of religion etc.
  • Man-woman relationship
  • Teacher-student relationship
  • Do’s and don’ts in Germany
  • German clichés of other nations
  • Living and working in Germany

The workshop will be conducted as a mixture of input (teacher), discussion and defined tasks (to be presented by the students). Very active participation is expected!

Sport event 

28.09. Sportmix, 6:30 p.m., meeting point 6:15 p.m in front of the sports building 40.40
Be excited, because today a surprise sports programme is waiting for you. We will meet in front of the KIT sports building and then walk together to the beautiful Fasanengarten, where you can do countless sports activities. Let us surprise you with what our instructors have come up with for the group.

07.10. Football, 6:30 p.m., meeting point 6:15 p.m at the Aral petrol station on Yorck-Straße
Today we are going to the football field. We will meet at the Aral petrol station on Yorck-Straße and walk together to the nearby football pitch. After warming up, we will divide into teams and play football together for an hour. Everyone who wants to play football is welcome, beginners as well as advanced players.

12.10. Start-of-studies day at the University Sports Centre, 2-5 p.m., KIT sports grounds, 3G regulation!
The Hochschulsport and its cooperation partners introduce themselves. Come by and get to know our sports at various stations to try out and participate in. Thanks to our home game café with delicious cakes and drinks, you will also be able to enjoy a snack in between.
