Umfrage Student Survey: recognition of academic achievements

A nationwide survey conducted by the German Rectors' Conference (HRK) is intended to identify optimization possibilities in the recognition and crediting practices of higher education institutions with regard to study and examination achievements and non-university competencies. The survey will run until December 15.

 Networking Event for Start-Ups and Companies

To begin a dialogue is a start, but cooperation and joint activities to implement projects or realise products are the goal for start-ups and companies. The format aims to bring together start-ups and companies from both regions with the most diverse interests and motivations for cooperation. Are you interested in theatre? During three exchange weekends on the topic of theatre, you can exchange ideas with German, French and Swiss students and visit performances in the Eucor cities of Mulhouse, Basel and Fribourg. Each meeting includes a performance, an artistic workshop, a visit to the local stage and intercultural and linguistic exchanges.

 International Lecture Series

The IfRCuKnow and IECO hold an international lecture series entitled Critical perspectives and contending concepts of sustainability (21 October 2021 - 10 February 2022, Thursdays at 5 pm)

Experts from around the world will discuss the Western concept of sustainability, dismantle power structures, and present alternative (indigenous) perspectives for a more comprehensive understanding.

The lecture series is open to all students, PhD students and postdocs.

KIT100 points for Erasmus+ at KIT

In May 2021, the EU Commission awarded KIT with the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE). KIT's application received the highest possible rating of 100 points. In addition, KIT is one of the best practice universities in Germany - a distinction that is awarded to only about 30 of all German ERASMUS universities.

Eucor - The European announces 28 PhD positions for its cross-border PhD program "EURIdoc". These are located at the Universities of Basel, Freiburg and Strasbourg as well as at KIT and the University Medical Center Freiburg and focus on the main topics hematopoiesis and development of the immune system, innate and adaptive immunity, and immune diseases.

Among representatives of the five Higher Education Institutions of the state, the two EPICUR partners “Karlsruhe Institute for Technology” (KIT) and the “University of Freiburg” (ALU-FR) were invited to present their European University Alliance. They shared their Ideas on the topics "Research, teaching and innovation as the cornerstone of the alliances" (KIT) and “Between inclusivity and excellence” (ALU-FR) with video clips.
