Wir bieten während der Vorlesungszeit ungefähr monatlich Infoveranstaltungen an - mal als Online Webinare, mal in Präsenz.
During the lecture period, we offer information sessions approximately once a month - sometimes as online webinars, sometimes in person.
 
Unsere Infoveranstaltungen geben Ihnen einen Überblick über die Übersee-Austauschprogramme des IStO: Geklärt werden hierbei allgemeine Fragen zu den Programmen und den jeweiligen Voraussetzungen sowie Details über das Bewerbungsverfahren und die optimale Vorbereitung.

Die Teilnahme an den Online-Terminen erfolgt über den Kursraum "Infoveranstaltungen Auslandsstudium" in ILIAS. Wählen Sie bitte den entsprechenden Ordner "Infoveranstaltungen Übersee". Eine Anmeldung ist nicht notwendig.

Every degree program has certain rules. Being familiar with them can be very helpful, for example, in finding the right lectures. Or it can be important if your studies are not going as you had hoped.
 
This workshop consists of three parts:
In the first part, you will learn the basics of studying at KIT:
What does KIT require in order for you to receive a bachelor's or master's degree? What is KIT's role in this? At what points in your studies might it become difficult to continue studying? So what should you pay attention to?  
In the second part, you will learn specifically how you can use these regulations to create your timetable. A student will explain the university's own Campus Management Systems and Ilias programs, which you can use together with the module handbook to organize your studies. The student will also inform you
what you need to pay attention to and where you are free to make your own decisions. Here you can also share your experiences with each other. We will help you with specific cases.
 
In the third part, we would like to draw your attention to important places at KIT where you can get various kinds of help with your studies.
 
The event will be held in English and, if necessary, in German.

Hochschulsport at KIT presents all their sport offers before the registration and course start for the summer semester 2026. Come by and get to know the many sports and fitness programs and the walk-in health center at various hands-on stations and information booths.

The International Students Office (IStO) welcomes international students from 14:00 hrs onward with informative presentations in German and English. From 15:30 hrs to 16:30 hrs, the Welcome and Integration team invites attendees to a reception with drinks, where various units of KIT and the Studierendenwerk Karlsruhe will present themselves at information booths and be available for questions. This will be followed by the campus rally.

30 + 10 : Anniversary celebration - KIT & Arts et Métiers
 
The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and Arts et Métiers are celebrating 30 years of the German-French double degree program & 10 years of the French-German Institute for Industry of the Future.
We will be holding the anniversary celebration on July 2, 2026, at KIT. You are cordially invited to attend.
