Starting in May, the welcome series Good Morning, Karlsruhe! will also take place at Campus North.
 
The kickoff event will be held on May 12, 2026, and begins with a welcome address by Prof. Dr. Thomas Hirth, Vice President for Transfer and International Affairs. The IScO team will provide information on important official documents as well as university processes and offer practical tips for everyday life. International researchers and academic guests are warmly invited to participate, ask questions, and make initial contacts.
 
After a shared lunch, you will have the opportunity to visit the Energy Lab, one of KIT's central large-scale research infrastructures and an important place for the study of sustainable energy systems.Another highlight is a tour of KATRIN and a bus tour of the North Campus. 
 
Come by, get to know KIT better, and network with the international community!

10th Anniversary of Eucor EGTC: Event at UHA
Université de Haute-Alsace

The Université de Haute-Alsace is hosting an afternoon event on May 13, 2026, for Eucor students featuring a buffet, a campus tour, and an artistic workshop on cross-border cooperation. The event is free of charge and will take place from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the La Fonderie campus. The registration deadline is May 4, 2026.

Our Workshop for Latecomers is your fast-track guide to starting your studies at KIT with confidence. In just two hours, you will get the key information every international student needs to settle in and navigate university life.
 
We will cover four essentials for a smooth start:
Immigration & Enrollment – residence permit, housing registration, health insurance Home Sweet Home – tips for finding accommodation in Karlsruhe Academic Toolkit – CAS, KIT ILIAS and your KIT e-mail Social Life & Networking – meeting people and getting involved on campus  
Participation is free, but spots are limited to 20 students per session.

German-French Language and Culture Workshop in Strasbourg
Straßburg

From May 17 to May 22, 2026, a German-French language and culture workshop in Strasbourg will bring together 30 Eucor students for intensive language courses and visits to European institutions. The program is free of charge, including accommodation, meals, and travel reimbursement for participants from member universities. The registration deadline for students and doctoral candidates is April 24, 2026.
