The KIT welcomes international students from 14:00 hrs with an welcome address by its President, Prof. Dr. Jan S. Hesthaven, followed by informative presentations in both German and English.

From 15:30 hrs to 16:30 hrs, the Student Team of the International Welcome Office (IWO) invites students to a reception with refreshments. During the reception, various KIT departments and Studierendenwerk Karlsruhe will be represented at information booths and will be available to answer questions. The event will be followed by the Campus Rally.
