The “International Alumni Week 2025” brings together international alumni and research alumni from KIT and the University of Stuttgart. Participants will engage in a week full of exchange, inspiration, and innovation on key future topics: sustainable mobility, digital transformation, and livable cities. The program features inspiring keynotes, discussions, interactive CoLabs, lab tours, excursions, and cultural events. Exclusive highlights include access to the KIT Science Week as part of KIT’s 200th anniversary and exchanges with the InnovationCampus Future Mobility (ICM). The event takes place from October 12th to 18th and concludes with a farewell lunch in Stuttgart at 1:00 PM.

On Tuesday, October 14, 2025, the KIT Science Week will begin with a keynote speech by urban researcher Professor Sabine Knierbein on the topic of sustainable cities. This will be followed by a panel discussion, accompanied by a "Market of Opportunities," where Eucor and EPICUR will also be represented with an information booth.

Citizen Science connects research and society to collectively address global challenges. In this interactive workshop, experts from Spain and Denmark -Josep Perelló (University of Barcelona), Anne Kathrine Overgaard, and Thomas Kaarsted (University of Southern Denmark) - provide practical insights into the implementation of citizen science projects. Participants will learn how citizen science can be successfully integrated into EU funding applications, discuss project ideas using the CoAct toolkit, and discover best practices for cross-sector collaboration. The workshop is aimed at anyone who wants to start or further develop citizen science initiatives.
