Creating Climate Change Collaboration (4C)
Building on their long-standing partnership, the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science, Research, and the Arts and California State University aim to support collaboration among researchers in the search for solutions to the problem of global climate change. The target of the 2026 program line and the 2027 program line within the state program is to initiate collaborations between researchers from Baden-Württemberg and California State University, within which questions about climate change will be addressed and the associated challenges will be discussed from a scientific perspective.
Funding Duration and Amount
Grants are offered for short-term stays of 5–10 days in California. A grant consists of:
- Travel expenses in the amount of: €1,375.00 (one-time payment)
- A daily allowance of: 150.00 € (the arrival and departure days each count as half a day)

Application forms must be emailed to Mr. Nick Ebner (csuip∂uni-tuebingen.de) by October 31, 2026, for the 2026 and 2027 calls for applications.
