Research on Biomaterials: Cooperation with Hong Kong

Fraunhofer Society visited the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong (PolyU) at the beginning of March. One result was a memorandum of understanding.

Representatives of the Helmholtz Research Group of Biofunctional Materials at KIT and the Fraunhofer Society visited the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong (PolyU) at the beginning of March. One result was a memorandum of understanding.

KIT, Fraunhofer Gesellschaft and PolyU will work together in applied research and technology development in the field of life sciences.

Dr. Pavel Levkin, head of the Helmholtz Research Group of Biofunctional Materials at KIT, gave a talk at PolyU in Hong Kong during the visit. There were also panel discussions with various research groups and meetings with the PolyU Vice-President for Research, representatives of the consulate, the German Academic Exchange Service Hong Kong (DAAD-HK) and companies.

Representatives of KIT and the Fraunhofer Society also visited Shenzhen University in China during the trip.
