Student Team
The Student Team supports international prospective students and current students at KIT — whether or not they have a refugee background — by providing tailored information about daily student life and social integration programs.
The team offers a strong network and assistance in difficult situations. It advocates for a culture of diversity.
Our Services:
Advising & Orientation at the International Student Hub regarding:
- questions about living in Germany
- residence-related matters
- targeted referrals to relevant services and offices within and outside KIT
Study Start & Preparation:
- Start of Studies for Internationals: welcome events and workshops
- guides, checklists, and consolidated information for your preparation
- FAQs with answers to frequently asked questions
- video clips and podcasts for a smooth start to your studies
Support During Your Studies:
- workshops and information sessions on study-related topics
- individual counseling in exceptional or emergency situations
- Support with social networking and making connections
Engagement & Funding Opportunities:
- I Volunteer ∂ international KIT: volunteering opportunities for international students
- Prizes & Financial Aid (e.g. STIBET)
- Knowledge of Germany Certificate as an additional qualification
