Welcome to KIT! The International Welcome Office (IWO) is here to support you and your family from day one.
Every second Monday morning we invite you to our welcome event Good Morning, Karlsruhe! The event is aimed at international researchers and academic guests and offers uncomplicated initial orientation, personal support and opportunities for exchange. Get to know the IWO team personally over a cup of coffee or tea, ask your questions directly and network with other international researchers - regardless of whether you have been working at KIT for some time or are new to KIT.

Learning German can be exciting and is often essential in everyday life – but it can also be challenging.
The German Conversation Group is not a traditional language course, but an open, weekly opportunity for international researchers at KIT to practise German and connect with others. The focus is on regular conversation practice, building confidence and meeting other international researchers.
All language levels are welcome.
