Visit of a Delegation from Chalmers University of Technology at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT)

On April 15, 2025, a delegation from Chalmers University of Technology will visit the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) to learn about current research projects and collaborations in various scientific fields. The visit will include several stops at Campus East and Campus North.
At Campus East, a guided tour of the Karlsruhe Research Factory for AI-integrated Production will be offered. Here, the guests from Gothenburg will gain insights into innovative manufacturing technologies optimized through the use of artificial intelligence (AI).
After a transfer to Campus North, an introduction to the research facilities there will follow. The focus will be on the Karlsruhe Tritium Neutrino Experiment (KATRIN), which plays a key role in international neutrino research, as well as visits to the Energy Lab 2.0 and the Carbon Cycle Lab. These facilities focus on sustainable energy systems and carbon cycles, which are crucial for the energy transition and climate protection.
To conclude, the "Student Athletes Erasmus+ Mobility in Europe" (SAMEurope) project will be presented, addressing the mobility and support of student athletes in Europe.
The visit of the delegation from Chalmers University of Technology to KIT offers a valuable opportunity for professional exchange and the strengthening of scientific collaboration between the two institutions.
