The new semester is just around the corner. Many new students are moving to Karlsruhe to start their studies. Therefore, we offer a campus rally, filled with fun activities that you can complete within your group. 
 
It's never too late to learn new things about where you study. This will give you the best opportunity to do so and expand your own circle of friends.
 
About Studienstart International:
The Welcome & Integration team of the International Students Office (IStO) warmly welcomes you to KIT. We offer various welcome and information events at the beginning of both the winter and summer semesters. Here, you will have the opportunity to make your first contacts with other students and receive important information. For international students arriving late, we offer additional workshops.

On April 27, 2026, a theater afternoon will be held in Strasbourg for students from Karlsruhe, Freiburg, and Basel, dedicated to the themes of migration and diversity. The program includes a performance, a discussion with the director, and an arts-oriented campus tour. A French proficiency level of at least B1 is required. Participants benefit from travel cost reimbursement and will receive the "Carte Culture" for discounted access to cultural events.

From June 22–27, 2026, Tour Eucor invites you to a five-day cycling trip through the Upper Rhine region, connecting all five Eucor universities. The tour is open to all cycling enthusiasts who wish to explore new cities. Starting and ending in Karlsruhe, the route includes stops in Strasbourg, Mulhouse, Basel, and Freiburg. Evening programs will further enrich the experience. Registration is open until February 21, 2026.
