In dieser Infoveranstaltung werden verschiedene Optionen vorgestellt, wie und wann internationale Erfahrungen im In- und Ausland während des Lehramtsstudiums am KIT gesammelt werden können.
Von Auslandsstudium über ERASMUS, Übersee-Programmen, Schulpraxissemester an deutschen Auslandsschulen, freiwilligen Praktika an nicht-deutschen Schulen, Fremdsprachenassistenz, Abschlussarbeiten (Bachelor, Master), Betriebs- oder Sozialpraktikum, Engagement in internationalen Hochschulgruppen bis hin zu freiwilligen Sprachkursen und Internationalisierung zu Hause ist alles möglich.

The so-called “Walk to Karlsruhe” has become almost proverbial – after all, Karlsruhe is home to Germany’s most important courts: the Federal Constitutional Court, the Federal Court of Justice, and the Federal Prosecutor’s Office.
This 2.5-hour guided tour presents these institutions in a way that is easy to understand for non-lawyers and connects them to current developments. You will also gain insights into crime scenes and offenders, while learning about the city’s founding history in connection with the topic of law.
Please note: There are no interior visits of the buildings as part of this tour.
Registration required; please also register accompanying persons separately.

This one-day workshop offers international female students at KIT a space for networking, exchange, and reflection.
The goal is to explore together what empowers female students in their studies at KIT and what they might be missing. In interactive workshop sessions, participants will share personal experiences, identify needs, and develop strategies to shape their studies at KIT in a self-determined and successful way.
The day will be accompanied by moderated discussion rounds, creative methods, and practical exercises for self-reflection and networking.
General conditions:
This workshop is intended for international degree-seeking students who identify as FLINTA. Participation is free of charge. Catering will be provided. The number of places is limited to 20. About the speaker:
Anna Bakinovskaia works as a freelance cultural project manager and consultant for diversity, inclusion and organizational development and is involved in voluntary work. She studied in Minsk and Grenoble and, after working in Vilnius and Karlsruhe, worked at Theater Rampe in Stuttgart. Until November 2024, she worked at Musik der Jahrhunderte with a focus on artists in exile.
The goal is to explore together what empowers female students in their studies at KIT and what they might be missing. Neben allgemeinen Informationen über mögliche Auslandsaufenthalte, Partneruniversitäten, Bewerbungsabläufe, Deadlines oder Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten werden auch diesmal wieder Sportstudierende, die während des Studiums im Ausland waren, von ihren Erfahrungen berichten und für Eure Fragen offen sein.

Whether it's everyday racism or institutional racism - here you will meet people who have experienced similar things. Together we want to activate our strengths, support each other and develop strategies for study and everyday life to strengthen your self-awareness and make you more self-confident.
The workshop will be led by Dr. Kidist Hailu (intercultural consultant & coach for personal development). It will take place in a safe space so that people affected by racism and discrimination can feel safe and supported to openly exchange and share their own experiences.
