The Eucor Running & Hiking Challenge 2026 unites the university community through cross-border running and hiking experiences across three historic peaks in France, Switzerland, and Germany. The official community events will take place on June 13, July 4, and September 26, 2026.

Unsere Infoveranstaltungen geben Ihnen einen Überblick über die Übersee-Austauschprogramme des IStO: Geklärt werden allgemeine Fragen zu den Programmen und den jeweiligen Voraussetzungen, Details über das Bewerbungsverfahren und die optimale Vorbereitung. 
Wir bieten während der Vorlesungszeit ungefähr monatlich Infoveranstaltungen an - mal als Online Webinare, mal in Präsenz.
 
Die Teilnahme an den Online-Terminen erfolgt über den Kursraum "Infoveranstaltungen Auslandsstudium" in ILIAS. Wählen Sie bitte den entsprechenden Ordner "Infoveranstaltungen Übersee". Eine Anmeldung ist nicht notwendig.

Better in German? The International Scholars and Welcome Office (IScO) offers a new format for international researchers with the German Round. 
Starting Wednesday, June 3, 2026, Maike Schröder – an experienced translator at KIT – will host an open discussion round for anyone who already has basic knowledge of German but finds too few opportunities to speak. 
The concept is simple: no rules, no fees, no stress. In a relaxed atmosphere, participants can converse with each other in German and receive support if needed. 
Date: Every Wednesday (from June 3, 2026), 5:00–6:00 PM
All interested parties – regardless of language level – are warmly welcome.

ISRT: “Fit for exams and Preparing to return Home"- will address important information regarding exams and returning home after studying at KIT.
 
You should attend, if you are an international student at the KIT Department of Informatics.
 
Vital information and tips regarding registration, preparation and taking exams in this semester will be addressed. In addition there will be critical information for exchange students who are completing their studies at the end of this semester.

There will be several points during the workshop to ask questions as well as at the end to talk with the peers and ISS Adviser.
 
The workshop will be held in english. You can ask questions in english or german.

Studying abroad can be exciting, but it can also come with challenges. This workshop series offers a supportive space for international Bachelor’s and Master’s students from KIT and Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences to connect, share experiences and learn from each other.
 
Together, we will reflect on student life, exchange practical tips and explore resources that support your well-being during your studies.
 
The sessions are guided by a professional coach, who will introduce helpful self-care strategies and practical tools to manage stress, strengthen resilience and maintain balance in everyday student life.
A chance to connect with fellow international students, reflect on your experiences and take care of your well-being.
 
Sessions are held in English and participation is free of charge.
