IScO´s Excursion: Visit to the EUCOR University of Basel and Guided City Tour
Culture / Fun
Basel. We will meet in Karlsruhe at the bus terminal by the main train station, at the FlixBus stop. To get there, walk through the station building and exit on the other side.

Join IScO for a full day trip to Basel on April, 18. Please plan to keep the entire day free. We will visit the University of Basel and take a look at the Eucor European Campus. After that, we will have a guided  tour of the university and a city tour in Basel.

What is Eucor, the European Campus?
Eucor, the European Campus, is a trinational alliance of five universities in the Upper Rhine region at the heart of Europe: the University of Basel, the University of Freiburg, the University of Haute Alsace, the University of Strasbourg, and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Together, these universities bring the expertise of around 17,000 researchers, 9,900 doctoral candidates, and 120,000 students in a strong research and economic region across France, Germany, and Switzerland. The goal is to build a clearly profiled academic area without walls or borders, with international reach.

Lunch and Guided City Tour
After the campus visit, we plan to have lunch together, followed by a guided city tour in Basel. More information about the tour will be announced soon.
Basel is in Switzerland. Please bring a valid passport for the trip.
