The graduation scholarship is aimed at qualified foreign doctoral candidates in the final phase of their doctorate at KIT who have got into financial difficulties through no fault of their own. The prerequisite is that the successful completion of the doctorate can realistically be expected within the next 12 months. The financial support is intended to enable them to concentrate fully on completing their dissertation.

| ✅ Requirements |
Doctoral agreement Admission as a doctoral candidate by a KIT faculty (conditional admission accepted), no later than 6 months after the start of the scholarship Good academic performance and a realistic prognosis for completion within 12 months |

| ⚖️ Selection Procedure |
The selection is carried out with the involvement of the Equal Opportunities Officer at DE INTL. Criteria include: – Availability of funds – Academic qualifications and achievements (commitment, breadth of expertise, productivity) – Financial need Applicants will be informed of the decision in writing. |
| 💸 Funding Amount & Duration |
Duration: up to 6 months, extendable to a maximum of 12 months in exceptional cases (subject to reassessment) Up to €1,300 per month, depending on available funds Co-funding by the supervising institute is generally required and preferred |
