"Researcher Mobility Program“ of the State Program Baden-Württemberg – University of Massachusetts

As part of the successful cooperation between Baden-Württemberg and the University of Massachusetts, there is to be a greater focus on collaboration between researchers. For the calendar year 2024, the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts of Baden-Württemberg is therefore making grants available for visits to UMass sites, through which new collaborations are to be initiated and existing ones strengthened.

Scientists at the nine research universities in Baden-Württemberg who are interested in working more closely with partners at UMass and who want to become actively involved in the state program can apply for this funding. For improved visibility of the state program, it is particularly desirable if the visit program also includes students and/or PhD students (e.g., lecture, workshop, etc.).

For the 2024 call, the focus is on preparing for the 60th anniversary of the state program in 2024. Participating scientists from Baden-Württemberg or UMass are invited to actively participate in the planned Scientific Forum, probably in October 2024 at the University of Hohenheim.
