International Students Office (IStO)

The International Students Office (IStO) at KIT is the central point of contact for international students and prospective students. It provides advice and support on all questions relating to applications, admission, studying, and life in Karlsruhe. With a wide range of advisory services, the IStO supports international students and promotes their successful integration into their studies and campus life. It also informs KIT students about study-related programs for study and research stays in Europe and worldwide.

Our three teams are:

Team Admissions The Admissions Team helps all international students in matters relating to application, admission, and enrollment.
Team Welcome and Integration (W&I) The Welcome and Integration (W&I) team offers a wide range of support services with the aim of facilitating integration at KIT and in Karlsruhe. The team is available to answer any questions you may have.
Team Mobility Programs The Mobility Programs Team advises and supports outgoing and incoming students in the organization and implementation of study and research stays abroad or at KIT. Our close contact to the institutions of international academic cooperation enables us to provide optimal advice to the KIT faculties/institutes on mobility and scholarship programs.
