Delegation from Hong Kong Baptist University Visits KIT

On Wednesday, 21 January 2026, a high-level delegation from Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) visited the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). The purpose of the visit was to exchange views on strategic research areas and to explore potential opportunities for cooperation and knowledge transfer between the two institutions.

Following the official welcome, representatives of HKBU presented the university’s strategic research priorities, knowledge transfer activities, as well as an overview of the Faculty of Science and the School of Creative Arts. This was followed by a presentation from KIT highlighting its key research focus areas, transfer activities, and the strategic approach of “Science for Impact.” A joint discussion then addressed possible synergies, collaboration models, and next steps. The visit concluded with a group photo, underlining the shared interest in strengthening international collaboration.
