The joint institute of KIT and the Arts et Métiers Paris Tech, the French-German Institute for Industry of the Future, will again be present at the Viva Technology exhibition in Paris this year. It is represented by Prof. Thomas Hirth, Vice President for Innovation and International Affairs at KIT, Dr. Klaus Rümmele, Head of the International Affairs Service Unit, Thomas Neumann from the Innovation and Relation Management Service Unit and Dr. Manuella Werp, Manager for French-German Relations in Research and Innovation.

Viva Technology is the premier startup and innovation event in France. The third edition will take place from 16 to 18 May 2019 at the ParisExpo Porte de Versailles Exhibition Center. KIT, the Technical University of Arts et Métiers, the Technical University of Munich, the IMT (Institut Mines-Télécom), the University of Passau, the French University of INSA Lyon, the German-French Chamber of Industry and Commerce as well as the Franco-German University will all be at a joint stand to present transnational cooperation projects in the fields of education and innovation. These eight players will present their know-how and their activities in the field of Industry 4.0 and give 26 German and French start-ups the opportunity to introduce themselves.
