All participants of the KIT International Buddy Program are invited

to come on this trip, and discover the rural history and culture of the BlackForest. 

 

Vogtsbauernhof is an open-air museum and cultural hub which preserves traditional buildings and crafts, offering an authentic and engaging look into regional life of the past and present.

 

After a guided tour, during which we experience the local way of life of 200 years back,

we enjoy a hands-on workshop in traditional baking,

and then make a meal of consuming the delicious product, some rustic version of the famous regional Flammkuchen.

 

• For those who afterwards feel the need to move, there is a summer toboggan run, just round the corner.
• Others might prefer to sit and taste the extraordinarily luscious BlackForest Gateau in the museum's café.

 

Kosten/ Zahlungsweise
The trip is realised with public transport, covered by the Deutschland-Ticket. | For all registered participants entry to the museum is free. | Food outside of the workshop, drinks and tobogganing are paid individually.
