He explores their implementation in cities like Zagreb and Amsterdam, where new municipal movements are experimenting. The lecture reflects on the differences between these models and their potential for wider adoption.

Philipp Späth explores collaborative housing as an alternative to market-driven models, using examples like “Genova e.G.” and “Freiburg-Kleineschholz” to show how they offer inclusive, affordable, and sustainable housing. The lecture concludes with an outlook on how these models can be supported politically.
