Reservation/ Costs

Requirement

• The guesthouse is strictly reserved for guests of KIT. For this reason, bookings in connection with a scholar’s stay at KIT will be considered exclusively.
• Maximum duration of a stay is limited to 6 months.

Reservation

• For a firm booking, read the letter of agreement, complete this form and send it to reservations-gh∂intl.kit.edu
• Usually, the guesthouse is fully booked three months ahead, so that early bookings are advisable.
• Bookings for a short stay (less than one month) can be made not earlier than 4 weeks before arrival only.

Prices/ Payment

• The rent is due at the beginning of each month.
• Possible payment options: Cash, maestro, credit card (Visa or Master) or bank transfer.

Cancellation

• Cancellation is possible up to 4 weeks before arrival.
• If reservations are canceled less than 4 weeks before the arrival, a cancellation fee will be charged:
• Less than 4 weeks:            50 €
• Less than 3 weeks:            100 €
• Less than 2 weeks:            150 €
• Less than 1 week:              200 €
• In case of a no-show without notice, the guesthouse management reserves the right to claim the first monthly rate.
• In case of an earlier than scheduled check-out, administration fees of €200 will be charged, unless guesthouse management is informed at least 15 days before checking out.
