We, the team of KIT International Affairs

  • support the international activities of KIT in research, teaching and innovation in collaboration with other administrative units, faculties and institutes
  • provide advice, support and secure external funding for international collaborations and mobility for all career levels to ensure KIT is a truly international campus
  • promote the internationalization of the KIT at all levels through global networking and partnerships.

International Students Office

The International Students Office (IStO) is the central contact point for all international current and prospective students as well as all KIT students who are interested in a stay abroad. Additionally, we support the KIT departments and the executive board with international partnerships in the area of teaching.

 

 

International Scholars & Welcome Office

The International Scholars & Welcome Office (IScO) is the central contact point for the international mobility of scientists at KIT. IScO offers advice to individuals who will work at KIT in a scientific or academic position. We also support hosts (departements, institutes etc.) at KIT.

 

 

 

 

Regional Strategy & Information

Regional Strategy & Information (ReSI) is the central contact point for KIT members and external parties interested in KIT's international activities.

 

 

 

 

Administrative Office of the German-French Initiative

The German-French Initiative (DeFI) combines and coordinates the German-French activities of KIT in teaching and research and is the primary contact for German-French double degree programs.

 

 

 

International Communication

The new section International Communication, including the translation service (working until 2016 within the Public Relations and Marketing Department) has started its work on January 1, 2017.
