In preparation for the International Days at KIT and the Europe-wide ERASMUS Days, the International Affairs Business Unit of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) has organized a video competition.
Employees and students, who studied/worked abroad for some time, were given the opportunity to share their experience and fascination by short videos on one of the two following topics:
- Studying abroad – why? Convince your fellow students of the benefit of studies abroad!
- Studying abroad – what are the strengths of KIT and Karlsruhe? Motivate international students to come to Karlsruhe and study at KIT!
The videos sent to us were viewed and evaluated by a jury consisting of five persons (Iris Jesske (IStO), Chiara Endrulat (IStO), Jie Han (ReSI), Christian Wetzel (ZML), Denis Elbl (SEK)). Among the criteria underlying the jury’s decision were originality and creativity as well as direct relevance to the topic and realization.
The best videos were presented at the International Days at KIT and the Erasmus Days. In the course of the International Days of KIT, on October 10, 2019, the prize for the best video was presented. All videos are also available on the Facebook page of the International Office.
