  • The Ontario Baden-Wuerttemberg Faculty Mobility Program is a scholarship program that supports researchers from the nine Baden-Württemberg universities to conduct research stays at a partner university in the province of Ontario, Canada. Description

The Ontario Baden-Wuerttemberg Faculty Mobility Program is a scholarship program that supports researchers from the nine Baden-Württemberg universities to conduct research stays at a partner university in the province of Ontario, Canada. The scholarships are intended to carry out a project in cooperation with an academic host at a partner university in Ontario, providing the necessary research facilities at the host institution. Please find the program and application guidelines in the document attached.

The scholarships are awarded to experienced researchers who can demonstrate a discernable research profile. They are usually a professor, assistant professor, research group leader or post-doc with at least two to three years of scientific activity or are able to prove several years of independent scientific work. The funding is open to scientists of all academic disciplines.

The scholarship is intended to cover travel costs and additional living expenses abroad. Faculty Mobility Grants are awarded for a period of one to six months. The monthly scholarship amount is 1,200 Euro and a one-time travel allowance amounting to 1,200 Euro.

 

Deadline for research abroad stays in 2017 is October 15, 2016.
