Erasmus Blended Intensive Programmes

Blended Intensive Programs (BIP), are a new funding line in the Erasmus+ program generation 2021 -2027. The program aims to promote the use of innovative learning and teaching methods, as well as to expand opportunities for online collaboration.

The BIP consists of virtual teaching sessions combined with a short, financially supported physical group mobility (5-30 days) at an Erasmus+ partner university.

Students have the opportunity to participate in an innovative course concept and to develop intercultural competences during this time. 

General conditions:
  • Cooperation of at least 3 European higher education institution from 3 different program countries
  • Participants students and/or employees
  • Short joint physical group mobility (5 to 30 days) combined with virtual phase
  • Minimum: 15 participants in the physical group mobility
  • Acquisition of at least 3 ECTS
  • Group Target country Support rates 2021 and 2022*

    Group 1: Program countries with high cost of living

    Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Norway, Sweden 160 EUR / Day

    Group 2: Program countries with a medium cost of living

    Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain

    140 EUR / Day

    Group 3: Program countries with low cost of living

    Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Northern Macedonia, Turkey

    180 EUR / Day
      Partner countries 180 EUR / Day
