Research Alumni Initiative

The Research Alumni strategies are part of the Research in Germany Initiative, which is to highlight the research location Germany and its opportunities in the international research community. The initiative is sponsored by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, Research in Germany and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.

Target group:

"Research Alumni are scholars who have researched as doctoral candidates, postdocs or at an advanced career stage in Germany and continued their academic career afterwards in another country. They are ideal multipliers to inform junior researchers in their professional networks about the possibilities of a research stay in Germany and to inspire them for the opportunities offered by this."

 

Application:

Application is open to all professors and researchers of KIT with a PhD wishing to re-invite international researchers with KIT-background (host) and Research Alumni of KIT (in consultation with hosts).

 

Duration of the project:

October 2014 – March 2016
