Campus North Guided Tour on 04.07.22

As one of the largest scientific institutions in Europe, KIT combines long university tradition with program-oriented cutting-edge research as the only German university of excellence with national large-scale research, and is therefore an attractive destination for the "best minds" worldwide. On a guided tour at Campus North on Monday, July 4, 2022, 10 international researchers, who are currently conducting research at KIT as International Excellence Fellows and Humboldt Fellows, were able to learn interesting facts about energy research, accelerator technology, or the smallest particles of the universe. The visit program included an introduction to the main research topics and a tour of the scientific and technical facilities in the fields of materials, energy, and elementary and astroparticle physics. There, the guests had the opportunity to get to know each other in an informal atmosphere, to establish interdisciplinary contacts and to exchange information about projects and joint research projects.
