Speyer

We would like to invite you to join our next excursion. It will be to Speyer. Where we will be having a guided English-language tour of this fascinating location.

One of the oldest cities of Germany with a cathedral dating back to 1030 AD (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and many other historical sights. Speyer is located on the Rhine where you can also find the cathedral gardens. Cul-turally Speyer offers several attractive museums, chief among which are the Technology Museum and the Historical Museum of the Palatinate. These are the three main possiblities to visit, of course you can choose yourself.

When? Saturday, April 29th at 9.30 a.m. (Please be on time as we are going by train.)

Where? Meeting at Karlsruhe Main Station (Hauptbahnhof) - in the main hall in front of the large electronic departures display

What will it cost? The return train ticket and guided tour is 10 euro per person, but depending on the group size, there may be cheaper options. All other costs (entry to museums etc.) will have to be covered by yourself.

Do I need to register? Yes, as we have a minimum number required for the guided tour. Please answer stating your name, nationality, KIT Institute and email by April 25th here.

Can I bring children? Of course.
