Helmholtz Postdoc Programme: allows postdocs/junior researchers, who are about to obtain a doctoral degree or have done so within the last one year, to work independently on their own research project (with duration of up to three years) at Helmholtz. Helmholtz Young Investigators Groups: allows outstanding researchers, obtained a doctoral degree between two and six years ago, to prepare for a university teaching career. [+] Individual PhD Thesis at Helmholtz Centres

Individual PhD Thesis at Helmholtz Centres: allows outstanding and experienced PhD students, obtained a Master’s degree equivalent to the German one, to participate in a postgraduate training and a research project (with duration of three years). The current vacancies can be found here.

International Helmholtz Research Schools and Graduate Schools: allows outstanding PhD students, obtained a Master’s degree equivalent to the German one, to enroll in a doctoral program, as well as to participate in an individual development training.
