The transfer of credits in courses that require a public graduation exam is defined by the responsible public examination office; for courses with an academic graduation examination the transfer is decided upon by the academic examination office – you can read up about it in the examination regulations.
Due to this complicated circumstances, we recommend to seek advice at your responsbile examination office at your department before leaving abroad. It is important to check the study offer at your guest university with regard to comparable lectures and seminars. The list of possible activities at the host university should then be presented to the professor responsible for the respective subject at KIT. He/she should be able to tell you if and under which circumstances the activity is eligible for transfer and give you his/her written consent.
