For international doctoral researchers who apply for jobs in Germany (focus being: German industry/business) it is important to know and use the applicable standards. The “successful” application however does not begin with writing application documents, but rather with the ability to recognize your own competence profile.

Therefore the following topics will be developed together:

• short analysis of the personal competence profile
• description of the various application procedures
• revision of the cover letter and cv

 

Prerequisite: The participants are to bring a current CV, a cover letter (if applicable) as well as the corresponding job advertisement.

 

Please note: The workshop will be held in English.
