Join us for a family-friendly special treat: Experience the fascinating spectacle of a festival which takes you back to the dark times of the middle ages. You will be able to taste traditional food and watch parades and exhibition fights in a unique atmosphere. When: Sunday, July 3rd 2016 at 12 pm Where: Karlsruhe main station (Hauptbahnhof) under the electronic display There will be a big historical parade which shows important groups and personalities from medieval times. Stroll around middle age markets, listen to medieval music groups, and view jugglers. You will have the opportunity to meet other international researchers, PhD students, and scholarship holders in a relaxed atmosphere and to enjoy some of the historic sights this region has to offer! Ask your colleagues and friends to come along with you. Tickets for the train will be bought in groups of five to minimalize individual costs. Members of ISCO will take care of the organization. Please make sure to bring 7 € in cash for the tram ticket. The entrance fee for the Peter and Paul festival will be covered by the DAAD STIBET program.
